Cut Up & Quilt is a place to learn, share or feed your passion for quilting! We want to greet the quilt community with a great quilt experience; whether it be for the beginner who is just getting their feet wet or the experienced quilter working on a masterpiece. Come one, come all!
We offer classes, quality fabric, patterns, and notions for inspiration, and long-arm quilting service to finish your creation!
WHO: All quilters who would like to create a beautiful quilt to honor a military family in their circle of friends, the community, or the nation.
WHEN: Challenge begins January 1, 2015 thru March 31, 2015
• Challenge quilts will be displayed at local quilt shop April 6 – 18.
WHERE: Pick up an entry form at your local participating quilt shop.
WHAT: Ninety percent of quilt must be made with Moda fabrics. Fifty percent of the Moda fabrics must come from the "Because of the Brave" featured collection.
• Quilt(s) must be 54″x65″ or larger.

We are a Project Linus Drop Off for Quilts from the Bluffs (click here to learn more)
Project Linus is a 100% volunteer organization with a mission to provide a sense of comfort to children who are seriously ill or traumatized through the gifts of new, handmade blankets or afghans, crafted by volunteer “blanketeers.” All blankets donated to our local chapter of this nation-wide organization are given to seriously ill or traumatized children of the Greater Omaha and Council Bluffs area.
Directions to Cut Up & Quilt! Take exit 8 off of I-80 (same exit as Iowa Western Community College). Turn West (toward Council Bluffs and Omaha). This is Hwy 6/Kanesville. Go 1.8 miles to the stop light at McKenzie Ave. We are across the street from Fareway and behind Auto Plus.
Bad Weather? We are closed if the CB schools are closed. Otherwise, call first to be sure we are open.
